Post Box Applications

P. O. Box – New

GSO assists a Business Partner to obtain his/her own Post Office Box by liaising with General Postal Authority (GPA).


Requirements
The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


•   A GPA Application form dully filled.
•   Two (2) Trade License photocopies.


Time Line
Company Representatives may collect a P.O. Box key, number and information about the location from GSO’s Delivery Counter after five (5) working days from request submission.


 


P. O. Box – Renewal
Every year, the validity of a Post Office Box expires on 31st December throughout the UAE, regardless of the date of obtaining/renewing of the P.O. Box. The renewal process must be completed by the 3rd week of January to avoid fines and P.O. Box blockage.


Requirements
The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


•   GPA Application form dully filled.
•   Two (2) Trade License photocopies.


Time Line
The P.O. Box will be renewed after five (5) working days from request submission.


Lock Change
In case of Post Box key loss or misplacement, the Business Partner must report the incident to GSO and apply for a lock change.


Requirements
The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


•   GPA Application form dully filled.
•   Two (2) Trade License photocopies.


Time Line
Company Representatives may collect the key from GSO’s Delivery Counter after five (5) working days from documents submission.


Important!


  • All the postal related quires and applications must be channeled through GSO only
  • If a company is registered for a ‘bag’ service with Emirates Post, an additional fee must be paid along with the renewal request.
  • In case of any anomalies like a fine or a box blockage, the Business Partner will be notified to complete certain formalities that may require extra time than mentioned above.
